Why Restaurants Switch

The load that eats your closing shift

Ask any kitchen manager what laundry really costs and they won't say the detergent. It's the last hour of the night — a staffer feeding a struggling machine instead of breaking down the line, towels that come out grey and tired, aprons that never quite lose the smell of the fryer. Or it's the opposite problem: somebody's taking bags home to wash, and quality depends on whose machine it was. Restaurant laundry is small-volume, high-annoyance work — which is exactly why it belongs on a route, not in your kitchen.

Always Dependable Laundry supplies the towels and aprons and handles everything else: pickup, a hot professional wash, full drying, folding, and delivery back on a set schedule. Your team opens with a stocked shelf instead of a laundry problem. We've run this model for local businesses since 1990, and the deal is simple — the items are ours, the standard is consistent, and when a towel wears out, replacing it is our headache, not a line on your supply order.

It also removes a quiet health-code anxiety. Towels that live too long in a damp back room, get washed lukewarm, or sit in a pile between shifts are the kind of detail inspectors and staff both notice. Ours come back fully washed, fully dried, and folded — every load, the same way, because commercial equipment and a set route don't have off days.

What We Supply

The workhorses of your kitchen and bar

For restaurants and bars, we supply the items — you never buy, track, or replace them:

  • Kitchen towels — the high-turnover staple for line, prep, and cleanup
  • Bar towels & glass towels — the small thing that shuts a bar down when it runs out
  • Aprons — kitchen and service aprons that come back clean and ready for the next shift
  • Cleaning towels & rags — for dining room and front-of-house turnover

Run a bakery, café, food truck commissary, or catering kitchen with different needs? Ask us. The list covers what restaurants request most — if your operation runs on something else, we'll review it with you and do our best to work it in.

How Service Works

Set the days once. Forget laundry after that.

1

Free wash test

Send us a real load of tonight's towels and aprons. Judge the wash and the fold when it comes back — free — before you commit to anything.

2

Route days are set

We match pickup days to your volume — a busy weekend house needs a different rhythm than a weekday lunch spot. Soiled bags go out, clean stock comes back.

3

Your shelf stays stocked

No more grey towels, no more laundry at closing, no more emergency store runs for aprons. If business picks up, one call increases the count.

A word about counts, because every restaurant asks: towels live a hard life, and in a supplied program the shrink-and-wear problem belongs to us. Stock is counted in and out on route, worn pieces are pulled and replaced as part of the service, and if your counts feel off, the first call settles it — you're dealing with the owner, not a claims department. The point of supplying the stock ourselves is that your shelf level becomes our job to maintain, at the level your busiest shift actually needs, not the level a spreadsheet guessed last year.

Bars and salons fit the same model. Bar towels are often the difference between a smooth Friday and a bartender polishing glassware with whatever's left — a steady supplied rotation ends that. Salons run through clean towels at a pace that wrecks household machines; a supplied rotation keeps stylists reaching for a stocked shelf instead of an empty one. If it gets washed daily and your business stops without it, it's probably a route item. Ask.

Questions

Asked by managers like you

Do we have to buy our own towels and aprons?
No. For restaurants and bars, we supply the towels and aprons as part of the service — and we replace them as they wear out. You use them, bag them, and they come back clean. If you already own stock you prefer, we can launder yours instead; plenty of accounts mix both.
How often do you pick up and deliver?
On set route days matched to your volume. A high-turnover kitchen might need more frequent stops than a small café, and the schedule is built after we see a real week of your business — the free wash test starts that conversation. When volume changes, the route adjusts with a phone call.
What if we run short before our next delivery?
Call Chris at 352-650-7326. Because you're an established route account on local runs, short-week problems are usually fixable — and backup coverage when something goes wrong is a core part of what this business has done since 1990. We'll always tell you straight what we can do and when.
Our current towels come back grey and worn. Is yours different?
That's the wash test's whole job. Towels grey out when they're washed cool, overloaded, or not fully dried — the classic in-house shortcuts. Ours run through commercial equipment, hot and fully dried, and supplied stock gets replaced as it wears instead of hanging on for another year.
Is there a minimum order?
We don't publish one-size minimums, because a 12-seat café and a banquet kitchen are different loads. Pricing is worked out after we've seen your actual volume — starting with the free wash test — rather than quoted off a rate sheet that doesn't know your business.
